We are friends now. Vietnam didn’t lie to me or cheat this time. I understood more about Vietnam’s feelings [way of life] and acknowledged it has weaknesses (particularly the traffic and honking whilst biking around it), and it treated me better in return.

Yeah, you don’t have to love every place you visit, but it is best to look for the best in each situation. Despite traffic in Vietnam, I still am amazed by the unspoken rules of the road and endless dance you must play with the motorbikes while cycling in Vietnam.

After spending 45 days in Vietnam (12 this time + 33 last year) and cycling nearly 1,500 miles, I feel at peace with my adventures in Vietnam.
